End Of Days – Japan’s Earthquake and Fear.
The disaster unfolding in Japan is one which makes you stop. Its scale is such that at times we could be forgiven for thinking it was the prophesized ‘end of days’. With it comes huge destruction of property and infrastructure but perhaps more important we are left in awe by the devastation and aghast at the unfolding suffering.
As the situation continues we are hearing more of potential dangers still to come. From exploding Nuclear Reactors to distant Volcanoes in Russia and Indonesia . The disaster can appear unending.
I urge you to step back from the fear and instead focus upon those who suffer. Fear will not help them.

Earthquake UK
Britain prepares for Earthquake disaster – 1 Million Euros during a time when funding is being cut in all sectors.
Recently Gareth reported on the frequency of Earthquakes around the world. What’s most alarming is perhaps the severity of these quakes related to their location. Eg closer to the surface and of large magnitude. One thing is certain, a lot of damage and suffering has resulted from them. Was it coincidence that the poorer areas of Haiti suffered devastation whilst the Islands Eastern side remained largely unaffected?

With the world suffering from what seems to be a range of intense and widespread natural disasters I thought I’d also highlight its recent earthquake activity. Although earthquakes happen regularly in general we take little notice of them, if they do not affect us directly (ie cause damage to peoples lives).
