Somalia – Starving or Shooting?
Towards the end of June the US officially extended it’s drone strikes to Somalia. Soon after CIA ‘Secret Sites’ were headlining the news… and then the UN talks about Famine and Starvation.
Now Somali Islamists deny any famine and maintain an Aid Ban. Who’s telling the truth? There’s no doubt that people in Somalia have a tough life – but at the same time Aid packages can allow for large amounts of money to be quickly processed between countries.
What we can say – is that at a time then the UN declares people are starving the US commits $45 million in weapons.

Norway: Oslo rocked by explosion – linked to shooting?
An explosion in Norway today has left several people dead and wounded more.
Strangely the event is also being connected to a shooting at a youth camp on an island.

Update No2 – 26th June 2011: Flood berm collapses at Nebraska nuclear plant
Update: There are reports that Fort Calhoun may have sealed fuel rods stored in a separate building that is currently partly submerged and preventing people from seeing this is the real reason for the No Fly zone.
Plus new photos are showing just how surrounded by water the plant really is… Other events, such as the dropping of a $6million transformer show how trouble is not new to the plant.

YouTube and Big Brother
Did you see the protest at Birkenheads county court? I watched it on YouTube and found it fascinating. UK citizens and members of the ‘Lawful Rebellion stormed a court and attempted to arrest a Judge – not something you see everyday… Unfortunately you won’t be able to form your own opinion as the Government has stamped down their BigBrother boots to remove it.
Not only has YouTube removed the video as part of its ‘Government Removal Requests’ program the topic is not being covered by the MainStreamMedia (such as the BBC – do the government control them too?). When our media does not report such events how will we know what is being kept from us?

End Of Days – Japan’s Earthquake and Fear.
The disaster unfolding in Japan is one which makes you stop. Its scale is such that at times we could be forgiven for thinking it was the prophesized ‘end of days’. With it comes huge destruction of property and infrastructure but perhaps more important we are left in awe by the devastation and aghast at the unfolding suffering.
As the situation continues we are hearing more of potential dangers still to come. From exploding Nuclear Reactors to distant Volcanoes in Russia and Indonesia . The disaster can appear unending.
I urge you to step back from the fear and instead focus upon those who suffer. Fear will not help them.
