10 Most Puzzling Ancient Artifacts
The Bible tells us that God created Adam and Eve just a few thousand years ago, by some fundamentalist interpretations. Science informs us that this is mere fiction and that man is a few million years old, and that civilization just tens of thousands of years old. Could it be, however, that conventional science is just as mistaken as the Bible stories? There is a great deal of archeological evidence that the history of life on earth might be far different than what current geological and anthropological texts tell us. Consider these astonishing finds:
The Grooved Spheres

Over the last few decades, miners in South Africa have been digging up mysterious metal spheres. Origin unknown, these spheres measure approximately an inch or so in diameter, and some are etched with three parallel grooves running around the equator. Two types of spheres have been found: one is composed of a solid bluish metal with flecks of white; the other is hollowed out and filled with a spongy white substance. The kicker is that the rock in which they where found is Precambrian – and dated to 2.8 billion years old! Who made them and for what purpose is unknown.
DNA Mystery: Telepathy
Scientist are baffled by the recent discovery that DNA can communicate, even when separated. DNA has been found to have a bizarre ability to put itself together, even at a distance, when according to known science it shouldn’t be able to.
Scientists are reporting evidence that contrary to our current beliefs about what is possible, intact double-stranded DNA has the “amazing” ability to recognize similarities in other DNA strands from a distance. Somehow they are able to identify one another, and the tiny bits of genetic material tend to congregate with similar DNA. The recognition of similar sequences in DNA’s chemical subunits, occurs in a way unrecognized by science. There is no known reason why the DNA is able to combine the way it does, and from a current theoretical standpoint this feat should be chemically impossible.
Could this fascinating development eventually point us in the direction of actually discovering how reality might function? We all seem to use a form of non verbal communication every day in the form of intuition, and that ‘gut’ feeling that usually proves to be correct, and yet has no basis in science. Could this recent DNA discovery and our ‘insights’ and synchronicities be in some way related?

The Zen TV Experiment
Television is not only an entrainment medium, it also serves to shape our world view. In a way it is a reality constructing device, manipulating how we perceive reality. The Zen TV Experiment sets out to prove this idea, in an extremely logical and thought provoking way.
When you turn the TV on, in effect, you turn the world off. The TV is only two feet high or so, yet we are fooled into thinking we are watching life-sized things. How is it that everything on it appears real and life-like?
There are a number of experiments included in Zen TV that anyone can try. These experiments are designed to make you question why you feel certain things when watching television, and question how it influences your view of reality and its function.
Almost every household’s living room is arranged around the television set. As a weight room is arranged for weight training, our living rooms are arranged for TV training. The furniture is purposely arranged for the transcendent practice of “watching TV,” rather than for the immanent, human practice of communication or interaction. The interior design of the average American living room with its lines of attention, hierarchy, and transcendent TV is very similar to the interior design of the average American church with its transcendent altar, lines of homage and gestures of genuflection.

Hitler’s secret family
I have often wondered what happened to the Hitler family, as the family name of Hitler has apparently vanished from the face of the Earth. It seems that Adolf and his crazy fascist antics in the 1940’s, has thrown his ancestral name and his once very popular mustache firmly out of fashion. Nobody sports the “toothbursh” mustache any longer, and anyone once named Hitler has, for obvious reasons, changed their name.
Now a team of investigators have tracked down the last remaining genetic line of the Hitler family and provided some interesting details.
Analysing forgotten cigarette butts in a small village in Lower Austria, a used paper napkin in a New York fast food restaurant and the seals of letters sent over 30 years ago from northern France, Marc Vermeeren and Jean-Paul Mulders say they have traced all known living relatives of the Fuehrer for the first time.

Political Rants
Peter John Glynn’s political rants have become a fast favorite here at Mind Set, as Peter cuts through the media nonsense that constantly bombards the British public and paints a common sense picture of what is really going on.
Peter’s delivery and style is one that’s truly accessible to all viewers, regardless of political leanings or country of origin, as he attempts to clear away the media fog that constantly obscures the real issues.
As Peter so rightly puts it:
“The year is 2009. The UK’s liberties and freedoms have been eaten away through enforced over-regulation , taxes and political correctness. Hundreds of new laws have been surrepticiously introduced in order to criminalise more and more of the population.
The ‘problem , reaction , solution ‘ paradigm is now in evidence as the hidden Governors restrict personal liberty in the name of safety and security. CCTV , regular bugging of individuals and groups , arrests of political opponents , lie detectors , ID cards , DNA files , metal detectors and overall surveillance makes the once great country of Great Britain the most spied upon on earth.
And never has our population been more dumbed down , fed on a diet of celebrity , confrontation and hatred.”

What’s the frequency, Kenneth?

“What’s the frequency, Kenneth?” is your Benzedrine, uh-huh - REM
So what does Time Travel, a hit song and the nightly news all have in common? It’s the frequency, the frequency Kenneth…
On a crisp October evening in 1989, veteran CBS news man Dan Rather was strolling along Park Avenue on route to his apartment, when he was accosted by two individuals. The two men attacked Rather from behind, and when he tried to walk away, he was punched and knocked to the ground. The attackers then chased Rather into a building and kicked him several times in the back. While Rather retreated into the fetal position, and was pummeled by the two men, they repeatedly yelled a seemingly nonsensical question at Rather.
“WHAT’S THE FREQUENCY, KENNETH!” over and over was this phrase repeated. Was Rather the victim of mistaken identity? If so, why would a “frequency” be of any use to a common mugger? And no money was taken?
