Scientists Worry Machines May Outsmart Man

without comments

net1Thinking machines are inevitable, this scenario is not an if but a when, and that’s if it hasn’t already happened.  Take a look at THIS earlier Mind Set post for details.

The following news article delves into the thoughts of some concerned computer scientists, and the recent advances in artificial intelligence.

Impressed and alarmed by advances in artificial intelligence, a group of computer scientists is debating whether there should be limits on research that might lead to loss of human control over computer-based systems that carry a growing share of society’s workload, from waging war to chatting with customers on the phone.

It’s not called the Dark Ages for nothing!

without comments

More religious nonsense is attempting once again to get a foot hold in the American public school system as the wacky religious right conveniently forgets about separation of church and state.

There is freedom of religion in the United States, meaning that anyone can believe in anything, no matter how crazy, without fear of reprisals. Currently Christianity is the largest religion in the country, and middle America houses the largest amount of ‘believers’, in comparison to the rest of the country, which is where this absurd effort is taking place.

Anyone who knows me, or is a regular reader of this site will know that I strongly believe in freedom, and religion is no exception. Personally I don’t believe in any form of religion, as religion ultimately provides a form of mind control and firmly flicks your thinking switch into the off position. But apart from my personal views, I truly believe that all people should be allowed to believe in and follow whatever religious or spiritual path they desire.

As one man’s freedom could be another man’s prison, and freedom as a way of life is a very personal thing.  It seems to me that everyone should be able to freely follow their own path and not be “manipulated” by outside forces into following any particular brand of belief. Thinking other peoples thoughts or mouthing their words, is something that we should all be mindful of, but in religious teachings this dogma is encouraged. This is why all forms of religion should be kept out of the public school system, and for that matter any and all forms of Government. If you happen feel strongly about indoctrinating your children in the ways of non-thinking, then by all means do so, but pay a private school that is skilled in brain washing techniques to numb your offspring’s mind.

Bohemian Grove happening NOW…

without comments

All this week the political, corporate, cultural and military elite of the world are gathering for Satanic rituals, possibly including human ritual sacrifice at the Bohemian Grove, a large  private acreage located some 80 miles north of San Francisco.

For someone reading this for the fist time, it will no doubt appear to be shocking, outrageous or even completely insane!  I mean, just think of it.  All of these rich and powerful men putting on silly costumes, and engaging in strange rituals to the ancient owl god Moloch?  Surely it must be all nonsense, right?

Not so. Regardless of the motives of these “leaders”, the rituals do and currently are taking place at Bohemian Grove.

According to “Treee,” a young Las Vegas woman who claims to have contacts inside the secretive club, a ritual sacrifice of Mary Magdalene takes place Tuesday July 21; and the ritual sacrifice of Jesus Christ takes place Wednesday, July 22. A human body or effigy is burned in front of an large owl symbolizing Moloch, the pagan Canaanite God. Alex Jones filmed a similar ceremony called “Cremation of Care” July 15, 2000. It can be viewed here.

A list of Bohemian Club members can be found HERE, and contains the names of some very powerful and famous men, all of which have either engaged in or observed these rituals.  But why?

The U.S. Vs. John Lennon

without comments

I recently watched the 2006 documentary “The U.S. Vs. John Lennon“, which is a film that details Lennon’s political leanings and his fight to stay in the United States and avoid deportation in the mid 1970’s.  The documentary contains a mixture of archive film footage and current interviews with the principle players, abet Lennon himself for obvious reasons, and succeeds in capturing the extremely volatile political climate of the early 1970’s and the slow demise of 60’s youth culture.

Lennon’s journey from Beatle to political activist is explored in some detail, and although I had a basic knowledge of what to expect in this film, there was a lot of footage that was new to me, and I was a very surprised by how it painted Lennon in the light that he was somehow manipulated into his political views.  I’m not sure how accurate the manipulation factor was, as Lennon seemed to know his own mind and was not easily swayed by outside influences, but it does make you think.  A naive, arrogant rock star with his heart in the right place, could have been easy pickings for the rabid political radicals of the 1970‘s.  But ultimately Lennon’s politics were grown out of the basic philosophy of the 60‘s, namely Peace and Love, and this is one of the central themes of the film.

The Mothman Cometh…

without comments

mothman_bookSad news today, as I learned of the death of one of the worlds premier fortean researchers. The legendary John Keel passed away Friday, July 3, 2009, at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, after some months in a nursing home near his Upper West Side apartment.

John Keel was a UFO / Paranormal researcher who was the main investigator in the now famed “Mothman Prophecies” case of the late 1960’s in Point Pleasant, West Virginia. The case which spawned the a book and later movie of the same title, was a masterpiece of high strangeness and brought the MIB (Men in Black) phenomena into popular culture.

Keel’s second book, UFOs: Operation Trojan Horse (1970), that alerted the general public that many aspects of contemporary UFO reports, including humanoid encounters, often paralleled certain ancient folklore and religious encounters. Keel also argued that there is a direct relationship between UFOs and elemental phenomena. Keel informed me often that he did not consider himself a “ufologist,” but a “demonologist.

RIP:  John Keel
