New e-camouflage technology uses a form of electronic ink to render a vehicle “invisible”. The British army plans to use this form of e-camouflage on their tanks soon as British military scientist are developing this technology currently and plan to have an operational prototype by 2013.

This is a prototype ‘smart’ city that will be a testing ground for various new technology, driverless cars and wireless networks that will work directly with the city grid. A testing ground for many great innovations to make our lives simpler but are we prepared to handle what comes with it?

“Please, step forward. May I have the password?”
Dr ‘Bill’ Harford (Tom Cruise) is rich, successful and married to the beautiful Alice (Nicole Kidman). Yet with his last film, Stanley Kubrick shows us how thin the veneer is within this ‘perfect life’. Using sexual tension to draw us in we are exposed to the couple’s secret worlds away from prying eyes.
With one veil being seductively removed after another we follow the Doctor along the path until we suddenly find ourselves lost and alone, in a dark and far more sinister place.
Is this purely a work of fiction or was the Director, as some have said, showing us through the looking glass to a hidden society that exists within the shadows of our own?

“Google’s Self Driving Robotic Car Licensed to Drive!”
The future is really here! We have seen many science fiction movies with self driving cars and many of us may have wondered when that day would come and that day is today! Google recently has been licensed for the first test run of these autonomous vehicles in the state of Nevada. Google though isn’t the only company applying for these licenses and surely this is a sign of things to come as we head towards a more automated and robotic society.

“DARPA SeeMe Satellites on Demand”
D.A.R.P.A. never sleeps as they always have something in development edging us closer to a militarized and controlled society with their brand of weapons and surveillance technology. This story is no exception and of course it always begins in the battlefield. DARPA’s SeeMe program aims to give mobile individual US war fighters access to on-demand, space-based tactical information in remote and beyond- line-of-sight conditions. SeeMe will provide small squads and individual teams the ability to receive timely imagery of their specific overseas location directly from a small satellite with the press of a button. Where does this lead to?
Well we are surely to find out in time.
