The EU does not raise a tax levy. Member countries contribute towards ‘ The Gravy Train’ budget (the UK sends over £6.8bn per annum.) The total funding is then used to shuffle papers and goods around the Union.
A more insidious and secret way of grabbing money to pay towards the global one world outcome so loved by mainstream parties at home and abroad, is to leech out of member states even more through fines.

Is there no limit to Government interference? The latest proposed social tax to hit the hard pressed minion living in the UK is the attack on ‘cheap’ booze.
OK, so in today’s Britain you already need to take out a mortgage to enjoy a few beers in the pub with your mates. My local is £3 a pint. Most of it already pouring into Government coffers through tax.
Many are staying at home, putting their feet up with a nice bottle of wine or a few cans of Stella from the Off Licence (both ours are closed by the way, not because there isn’t a need for it, but because the ‘Company’ wasn’t making enough profit.)
