Cosmologist, Physicist and speculator Stephen Hawking in a recent interview in the UK's Guardian newspaper, states that "there is no heaven, its all a fairy story".
While Hawkins statement is just as accurate as the conclusion put forth by other people stating definitively that there is a heaven. Hawking will no doubt make headlines the world over as a non-beliver!

Why does this double standard exist? Surely we should all be able to express our views on the purely speculative without repercussions?
While its true that most people do believe is some form of heaven or an afterlife, its also true that some do not. And this argument is entirely based on speculation, no one has come back with any kind of evidence or proof that life continues beyond this one.
And this is not to say that it does not, it very well may...
"I regard the brain as a computer which will stop working when its components fail. There is no heaven or afterlife for broken down computers; that is a fairy story for people afraid of the dark."
