US Collapse or Media manipulation?
Amazing images have been shown of 1000s of Americans in Atlanta clamouring for Public Housing forms.
In scenes that mirror starving people reaching out for food just what are we seeing here?
Video: 30,000 People Show Up For Public Housing Help In Atlanta (Police In Riot Gear)
Is America reaching a point where its infrastructure cannot cope? Why is it that the issuing of housing forms needs to be conducted from ‘park cars’ with riot police?
Or is something else going on. Why is this happening in Atlanta? Already questions are being asked in the media. Some blame the people for being too reliant upon handouts? My feeling from this footage is that it shows people who are struggling and desperate and that money that could be used to help them is instead being used to ‘contain’ them. This is NOT the sign of a healthy society, regardless of its wealth.
Something is wrong here – very wrong. People that suffer are being treated as a threat – perhaps the intent is to manipulate them into reacting and then use the situation as an ‘example to others’. Already other US citizens will be thinking how ‘fortunate’ they are that their world feels safe compared to this. Whatever the outcome these scenes spread a feeling of breakdown. Is this the intent?
As usual I would argue that both events are true. We are certainly seeing a broken system in operation. Yet it still functions so we should assume that it is being used in this way intentionally – dare I say it seems to me a clear case of manipulation. So we should be careful on how we interpret these images and aware of their potential to influence the people of America – that in itself should be a warning.

Maybe it isn’t a collapse. Maybe it’s just a continuation of how things have always been.
There’s a finite amount of money in the economy, and the rich are determined to keep screwing more and more money from the rest of us, and we’re now approaching the limit. End result is that we all live on nothing while the rich get substantially richer. But the masses can only be pushed so far before they start to fight back.
The thing that go tme about this story is that the system appears to be broken but clearly isn’t – ie officials have all the correct paperwork have organised a meeting place and time, together with the police force being prepared – everything is in place and designed. Almost certainly they were aware of the large numbers of people who would turn up. WHy for example couldn’t this have been carried out in a small inexpensive hall, with minimum police at the door – with enough forms for everyone?
They still could have only allowed a certian amount of applicants to be succesful – so I feel this scene was intentional… and it’s already goe into the subconcious of people who will probably have very instinctive views upon it.
