Ban Cheap Booze Solution To Wild Britain
Is there no limit to Government interference? The latest proposed social tax to hit the hard pressed minion living in the UK is the attack on ‘cheap’ booze.
OK, so in today’s Britain you already need to take out a mortgage to enjoy a few beers in the pub with your mates. My local is £3 a pint. Most of it already pouring into Government coffers through tax.
Many are staying at home, putting their feet up with a nice bottle of wine or a few cans of Stella from the Off Licence (both ours are closed by the way, not because there isn’t a need for it, but because the ‘Company’ wasn’t making enough profit.)
So it is off to the supermarket to see what offers they have on- the good old supermarkets so happily encouraged by Local Authorities to kill what little remains of once thriving towns across UKPLC.
Today PM Cameron says he backs the same Local Authority bye-laws to ensure a ban on cheap booze from the same supermarkets. It is, he states, to combat anti social behaviour that is turning many towns and cities into the Wild West.
Thankfully such nonsense is illegal under European Law. It flies in the face of competition and would result in the closure of more convenience shops, whilst having little effect on anti social behaviour. Laws already exist to tackle drunken, loutish behaviour. But these are rarely enforced because it costs the system too much.

I wonder if this could also be a way for them to start having prices on any item, be the same for that item, world-wide. Since each mega-corp won’t have competition, and every product label will eventually read – Made In Region2. Or whatever Region 1-10. As our allowance for work performed, will all be equalized.
Cheers.
