Iranian Women’s Football Team Ban Decision Overturned

On occasions there are small victories to be had against the jobsworthies. The Mindset Podcast reported in Episode 21 that the Iranian Girls Football team had been banned from attending Olympic competition due to a FIFA ruling on head gear.
The podcast had been critical of the ruling body’s decision to prevent youngsters from enjoying the human right of fun competition and fitness, and together with others had called for the ban to be lifted.
Now the Iranian girls will compete in a six-nation tournament at the games being held August 12-25 in Singapore. Sometimes it is nice to report some good news in a world that seems hell bent on destroying human spirit and fun times.
